Big Things Coming!

So remember that blog I just posted a few days about all the stuff we have to accomplish before snow flies?

And you know that last blog about not announcing big plans before having them right and tight? *(I will never learn)

Ok, so I am not going to even lie- you are going to have to wait to find out what is going on for us in the next few weeks. I’m really excited, but we’re still in planning mode and MrGillis and I thought it best to not “jinx” it by blasting it all over the place. I’ll do my best to keep up with semi regular blogs, but we have a lot on our plate right now and…

Just trust me when I say this is huge, tremendous, amazing, exciting and slightly crazy.

But we had an opportunity- an amazing and slightly crazy opportunity and we decided, after a lot of talking and planning over two crazy days to just go for it. Because this kind of an opportunity will NEVER happen to us again.

NEVER.

So, trust me when I say, you are going to want to hang in there with us for a little while.

This next step, it’s going to be a game changer. So keep your fingers crossed for us. This is so major.

Check in with our Facebook and Instagram account to catch any quick updates I may be able to post.

AHHHHH I AM SO EXCITED AND I DONT WANT TO JINX THIS SO PLEASE BEAR WITH ME– the plans are in motion but it’s big, and its going to take time, fore thought, help from some family and about 2 crazy weeks.

….. until next time, have a wicked good day.

This is the official website for Gillis Gardens, LLC. Gillis Gardens is a farm, run by myself and my wonderful husband. We believe in biodiversity, organic growing methods and doing things ourselves. I knit, crochet, make jewelry and sew. MrGillis builds, doing everything from our plumbing to our mechanical to our renovations. We are both active members of our little community. We both take care of the plants and animals. He weeds, I harvest. He spreads manure, I plant. We raise multiple breeds of chickens for eggs and meat. We have a herd of Alpacas that we shear every year for their beautiful fiber, which we then have milled into ultra luxurious yarn. We make our own maple syrup, preserves and pickles. We raise bees for honey and herbs for medicine. We also raise pigs for meat and fun. We are the parents of two young children, and consider that our most important job. Follow our adventures here and also on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
